Default Widebody 60 Canopy

I need a canopy for a widebody 60. Mine has shipping damage. Anyone have an idea where to get one? Are there any similar canopies that will fit ? I notice Tower has a UCANDO 60 canopy available but am unsure if it will fit.

Check with Precision Aero Composites. They have several different ones that would work.
I got a Hydeout canopy from them for my Excelleron and it looks great. The Icepoint canopy
from Ultra-RC would probably work too.

I flew mine about 2 weeks ago. I was at the field today and have something like 30 flights on it.

A friend who built the WB 60 before I finished my WB 40 advised to set the rates that you will use on the first flights at less than 50% of what the plans call for. It is extremely sensitive and the surfaces will move that plane with hardly any throw at all. You will be surprised at what 10 degrees of aileron will do! I'm now comfortable with over 50% of the suggested throws with a good bit of expo. The rudder has incredible authority, no matter what you set.

If you aren't finished, this may be a good time to fiberglass some strips under the canopy to prevent melting. My friends melted too.

I called Aero Works and no replacement canopies yet. They are the CA Models distributor now.
