Having problems with my MK soft mount for YS110. After only 4 flights the rubbers on the mounts were all mushy and two of them were cut in half. Can anybody suggest to me what kind of rubber I will use for replacing the original ones. I only have 2 days til the start of our NATS here in our country (first time to join and only sportsman). Hope to hear your recommendations.

Get the "HIGH Isolation" rubbers. Much firmer, will not cut through.
ALthough MY experience has been that they were FAR too hard.

... hmm, mine MK mount with YS 140 broke the rubbers all the time .. i tried some reinforced ones,but the vibration level ended up so hard that you could hardly read the letters on the craft...

Ended up with a hyde mount ...

Me, too. Put in the Hyde mount last weekend. WAY better than the MK.

Generally the rubber is cut where the alloy mount ends. If this is the case with your mount, gently round the ends of the alloy that touch the rubber. By removing this sharp edge, your rubbers should last much longer.

I am in the process of putting together the CMPro Leo 110. Is this MK Soft Mount the one that ships with this plane and should Ibe cautious of using the mount consisting of 4 rubbers with my OS 91 FX?
