Default New Kyosho Oxalys 50 ?

Hello,

I just noticed an upcoming small pattern plane on the Kyosho Japan site:

http://www.kyosho.co.jp/web/products...xalys50-j.html

Seems to be a successor or addition to the Majestic 1400.
The Majestic looks and flies great, hope the Oxalys will be as good or better...

Does anyone have any further info - like if and when will it be available etc. ?

cheers,

Smok

looks really good. hope there will be a pipe tunnel, that would make the perfect scaled-down pattern plane. Have a majestic now... maybe this will be next. =)

Athos7,

Have you got your Oxalys 50 yet? If so what is it like? Good quality? Good value?

I am trying to find one in the UK and might convert it to electric power although it does seem to be MUCH more expensive that simply bolting a YS63S on the front!!

Rgds,
Mark

Hello everyone !!! I received my oxalys 50 kyosho on saturday and I was really surprised by the high quality of this model.
It's ultra clean, all wood pieces are lasercut, the covering film is a model made by kyosho (not monokote, not oracover), the covering cut are professionally made and the curves are perfect.
The building are excellent and I really see a differnece between the majestic 1400 and the oxalys, the evolution is enormous.
I'm going to put on this model the last YS 63 FZ S that works very well.
I'm very happy to own this model.
See you soon.

I want one of these. Anybody know how to get one to the U.S.?

Did the kit come with any kind of soft mount? How are you going to mount your YS 63?

Thanks,

David

dflynt, there is a kyosho mount plastic made as the other kyosho planes,
I have an original hyde mount for my YS 63FZ S that really works well. The noise is really reduced.
You can buy some oxalys 50 kits to pigs airlines in Belgium that send all over the world.
Cheers

i dont think there is a pipe tunnel... but i guess there is room for the new hatori short pipe at the landing gear area, since it is now mid-way through the fuse...

Dave,

I am a Kyosho dealer. So far they are not in stock. So, no pricing yet.
I am ordering 3 of them for my store.
I will try to get in touch with my Kyosho sales rep. Next week for pricing.

For anyone interested, some more details can be found in the manual, already available at:

http://www.kyosho.co.jp/web/download...s_index-e.html

We'll see how the original big Oxalys will fly in the World Championships 2005 in Saint Yan:

http://www.world-championships-f3a.com/

Maybe I will go there to see the best pilots in action, hopefully...

For the small one there is a teaser video as well:

http://www.kyosho.co.jp/web/download..._hs/air-e.html

cheers,

Smok
