I need some opinions here. I have a dream 110 that I have installed 2 jr9011 servos for the elevators in the rear and I am having a problem with them. I am running one extension each to the receiver and have them mixed. I am using a Futaba 9Z with a r149dp pcm receiver. When I first turn the aircraft on with the Tx on the two servos have a lot of buzzing and there is no power output to either servo. I can push both servo's down away from neutral and soon as the get through about 30% travel they snap to life. No play no buzzing no nothing. They act perfectly. I have moved the elevator over a hundred times and no problems. If I turn the airplane off and then back on agian the whole thing starts over again. Any suggestions where I should start. Has anyone had this happen to them before.
Thanks,
Pete

Off brand Leads and extensions?
I have seen some funny stuff with off brand extension leads. I would recommend especially in servos that are a long way from the RX you use The HD gold extension leads sold by JR. These will minimize voltage drop over the long distance. I have even seen two servos moving at different speeds and getting out of synch and delayed when a poor quality extension leas was used. I have also seen problems where a guy had a 36" extension on one aileron and a 12" extension on the other side. The wire was coiled up next to the RX...We replaced the 36" lead with the right size and the problem went away. Use only the length of lead you need and match the paired servos like elevator or ailerons servo since they are expected to work together give them a chance to have the same voltage at the end of the wire.
Try plugging in the servos directly to the RX and see if the problem persists. I bet it works fine. This will eliminate the ?? of the RX and or the servos and the only link in between is the extension leads.
