The weather was very power-demanding. Dez and I flying the Xtra 25-13 didn't have enough power, while Chad flying the Xtra 30-10 had marginal to adequate power. However, Chad was only pulling 55A static (versus our 65A), so he was a good ways off the 30's optimal output power.
We narrowed the problem with Dez cooking Xtra 25-13's down to some combination of four factors: inadequate air ducting, flying at full throttle almost all of the time, using the Hacker ESC, and using the APC 19x12e.

A 22x12e should do it. The wides use considerably less current ( 19x12we is 65A, 19x12e is ~75A).
Apart from reducing the current, how does it compare in terms of thrust, speed etc.
(i.e. by going from 19x12E to 19x12WE, do you lose performance? Or would going from 19x12E to 20x12WE give better performance at the same current?)
