Default Landing gear

Guys:

I have an old Typhoon w/retracts. YS120 for power, 15x10APC.
The runway in our field is grass, the retracts are suffering to the
point that I'm gonna make it fix gear. What is available out there
that will look good and clear the prop on the departure roll?

I converted a Python and a 2 meter Finesse from retracts to fixed gear about 5 year ago using Bolly 60 size gear with good results.

This is my Zen 140.
I use a U clip to tighten the spring and the retract landing gear is strengthened.
Grass runway no problem!

Was in the same predicament with my Pursuit 120... now fly it all the time. Installed pine blocks (with blind nuts at the bottom ) forward of the leading edge, measured carefully for the slots , cut the Bolly F3A large gear in half , ultracoted the retract bay and Viola' no more wiggly Supras on my bumpy grass field . The ship lost weight in the process ,so it is a win- win .As an FYI , Bolly now has an F3A Long on the way -trying for months to get it for my new ship.Anyone out there got it (USA) ? If so , who supplied it ?????
