I am just about to buy one of these and am not sure which one to go with. The main thing that keeps me from going with the Zafiro is having to paint. I have a friend who has all the painting equipment but I am still not sure about painting. I know I can monokote the Epsilon and it will look good.

I will be using a Magnum 91 fs which I know wont give me insane power, but I am mainly wanting a good flying plane than can do some 3D. Will the wieght savings on the Zafiro be that great to warrant the painting?

Go for Zafiro.

Depneds on what style you want to fly. If you want a model that is 3d capable, go for the Zafiro. If you are looking for a model that is more pattern, then get the Epsilon

The two planes are basically the same, other than the Zafiro's fiberglass fuselage and the two piece wing compared to the EpsilonĀ“s wooden fuse and one piece wing. Moments and wing/stab locations are almost a carbon copy.

I would wait for their new .90 size plane. I saw the fiberglass fuselage some three-four weeks ago. It will be a one piece wing plane. Don't know the name though it looked like a smaller Genesis...

IĀ“ve been waiting over a year for one of these so I dont know how long I want to wait for the new one to come out.

Also, the planes always come out later than they originally say. Remember how long the rumored 40 sized epsilon was?
