What has become of Hanno Prettner? I know he had fallen into very poor health but haven't heard anything about him in some time.

Hi,

Here's a photo of Hanno. I had the chance to see him for the first and last time in my life in 1997 in Britain. He was flying at a show with the upcoming star CPLR. I also bought his video tape which is a must see IMO. Hanno was and is an example of true aeromodeller and athlete, I don't really know how this hobby would evolve if Hanno continued flying in competitions, etc...I'm pretty sure that things would be different in a better way of course.

I'll send some more photos soon after scanning them.

Rgrds,

Nick
