The Aresti 40 is a very nice entry level sport/pattern plane. Recommend YS 63, Saito 72, O.S. 70, Rossi 50 for power. Standard servos are fine. I believe Hangar 9 still manufactures the Aresti with the two piece aluminum landing gear legs. Unless you "grease" every landing, I recommend beefing up the landing gear attachment. Looking at the belly, cut a plate of .050" aluminum, measure, drill, then fasten on top the split gear legs. This will prevent the gear from flexing too much during the occasional hard landing or forced off runway landing.

I had this plane and it was a blast to fly until I had a brain malfunction and put it in an almond tree. I am glad to see they went on to producing more of these planes. I am going to buy another ASAP. I would beef up the landing gear and get a better tailwheel assembly.
