Simply wonderfully built and prepared model airplanes.
It's remarkable what these guys can do with a bit of balsa sheet and a couple of rolls of film!
What a construction, what a finish and... and a price thats high enough to become grounds for a separation!
Order a couple and you may never see the wife and kids again.
Throw in a couple of 1.70DZ and Hatoris and it's garenteed!

Been there, done that!!!!

The good news is that you can always get a new one. (Wife or plane )

Don't be held to ransom by what you love to do - NIKE!

You are only here once!

Is that a plug in stab? How do they do it with an anhedral stab?

Bla Bla,

You're right, the guys do a fantastic job. The finish is beautiful but it is not film. None of the Oxai models use film - they are all painted with two part epoxy.

I may well over jumped the gun with regards to the price. It seem the it wasn't anywhere near as expensive as I'd presumed!
350,000 JYEN is about 19,600,- NOK or about $3000 US. Thats about 10,000 NOK or $1500 US cheaper than the ZN price for their prefab' ARC Twister!!!
In other words theres a chance of getting one of these AND keeping the relationship together... albeit without sex, obviously. You can have it all!

Adrian,
Michelle monitors what I say and do on this forum. As my pattern goddess she has total dominance over everything that I do with RC.

Submissive as ever- Eric.

I'm not sure there is such a big difference, 1500$, with a ZN LINE Twister
The Twister Kit is about 835$, and the ARC is 1750$
Don't forget the shipping....
Anyway, even if OXAI airplanes have a fantastic finish, I prefer focus on the proven flying capabilities, the weight, and the competition results.
How mixing percentage are necessary on knifedge?
Thanks for any feedback of an FAI non sponsorised pattern flyier.........

Personally, I thnk the OXAI represent excellent value for money compared to the french products. By the time you add all of the other costs associated to building the model I dont think there is much if any difference except the model is built for you ( that is a huge benefit)

The weights would be comparable somewhere between 100-300 grams and as far as fligh performance goes well there is CPLR who could win with any model.

Once the Matts start flying OXAI I am sure the results will come.

I have been flying the ZN-Line Alliance for some time. Not a bad model but it requires a ridiculos amount of Rudder to Elevator mix to maintain straight knife edge flight. Therefore I dont agree that the French products fly with less mix.

Very much non-sponsored F3A pilot

YS170DZ has been tested over-power for this plane in Japan, YS160 with Hatori short just fit.
