Hello to all,
Does anyone is experienced with the Aero-Tray-Pro Transmitter Tray or might have a suggestion for a good professional tray.
Thanks

Amram: That seems an awful lot of money for a transmitter tray that you probably could fabricate yourself with some 1/4" ply, resin, and some aluminum standoff and bolts. You could use the picture they provide as a drawing then create a template to cut from and your TX box in place to put the remaining hardware. Just seems that after shipping and all, over $100 bucks (US) is a lot to pay. That's my opinion, may not be worth much.

Thanks DS,
I agree with you. On the other hand this is one-time investment and my experience shows me that doing it myself might be
Cheaper but the time and effort to make along with raw materials will not justify the saving.
The question is: Is it that good ie. Light and comfortable. If yes, then so be it....
If no, then I will keep on searching...
Same message I wrote at 3D forum and I got a reply with a link to another tray which is $64 + shipping = ~ $70
So I see that the range is about 70-100 so if I choose to buy at list I want to ensure it is good.
Thanks

Well, Amram, the problem I ran into with one of the commercial versions, it was made of high tensil plastic. almost like a heated plexiglass material and it broke in several places. It only lasted me a few weeks! I bought a different model from a different company and, so far, so good. But, I kept the broken parts of the old one to make one out of 1/4" plywood.
Good luck with that. When used properly, as I am sure you know, they are most comfortable.

IS this tray a secret. It seems like no one is willing to post a website as to where to find it.

Hi
U can get it at Robbe http://at.robbe-online.net/rims_at.storefront/en. To fit it in to the Futaba transmiter box, u'll have to modified the lower plat .

Darkvader was on vacation for a while but once I ordered the tray from him, I received it in a very timely fashion. I ordered the 9Z tray and I am really happy with it. It's a very high quality piece of work.
Thanks Darkvader!
