Hmmm, remind youo of anything? Except it'll probably be a fraction of the cost.

not just the widebody 140?

Woops, forgot to mention, it is under the CA models 27% Extra 300L page $199 special page. http://www.rcuniverse.com/showthread...=&pagenumber=8

Its not a Widebody, but a new design. It looks good, all I need now is the price. I dunno about an AA version, but you could get a set of wings and stabs cut if you wanted a two in one plane.

Default widebody/eclipse

I recently e-mailed Don Kanak about this asking when the Widebody 120 would be available. Here is his reply:

There will be 2 versions.
1. For pattern the eclipse
2 for 3d the fantasy
Both are glass fuse and presheeted surfaces.
Kit 595
Arc 995
Arf 1495
We will bring a few in in a container in the end of january.

Default Price

Hey that price for the kit is pretty good for us here in the US. The shipping will be resonable too ecspecially for me because I'm a 40 min. drive from Planes Plus. The kit will also have all the sheeting completed. The Arf will be a bargain too. Good to see a choice like this becoming available. Mike

Where is the new pattern plane? I see the same old PLPROD Smaragdd there.
This reminds me of the Focus/Onyx affair....

Default price

Price seems steep to me, but I guess it's in line with other similar kits.

I wish they had produced an all wood kit version of this plane. Look at the price of the Widebody 60! The 120 version is not THAT much bigger. We might have had wood kit for under $300.

I was waiting on this kit to decide whether or not to scratch a Typhoon 2000. Now that's what I'll do.

WHAT'S WRONG WITH SMARAGDS?!?!

And for about $1200 US you can have an Excellence kit as opposed to the $600 US for the Eclipse. I think the Eclipse is the better buy!

Yep, and you could probably save a bit by buying in bulk with your friends direct from Marcelo Colombo.
