Hey everyone. Just a note to say how fun the contest in Albuquerque was this past weekend. The weather on Fri was extremely forboding with my partner only flying 1 flight. Then all of a sudden the wind settled down mostly and we could practice and have a good time.
Sat morning showed very light winds with good temps. By noon however, the wind began swirling (as it is know to do in Alb) making the flight line direction quite precarious. One flight the wind shifted 180 degrees right after i took off, so there went my spin.
The food and comraderie at Richard's house on Sat night was very good.
Sun was a very pretty day again.
16 pilots enjoyed the contest.
Another great contest in the books.
