New 40 size Pattern Plane
I would like to get a new 40 size pattern style plane for general flying. I have narrower it down to the Kyosho Oxyalis 50, CA Epsilon 40 , groovy 50 3A or the venus 40. I want to power the plane with an OS 46 Ax. Does anyone have experience with these planes good and bad and where would be the best place to purchase them from.
Thanks
Charles

The Epsilon is a fantastic plane. I have been very impressed with all the Widebody and Epsilon models from CA. The OS 46 will be good for general sport and pattern flying although the ones that I have seen flying with 3D authority had larger engines.

RE: New 40 size Pattern Plane
I have the Oxalys 50 and I love it, flew my 1st pattern competition this weekend. Got 3rd and let 2 Masters pilots fly it and they both really liked it. I have no mixing on and it flies sportsman fine. I have a Saito 82 on mine. I think they are hard to find though. Kyosho has some importing issues.

RE: New 40 size Pattern Plane
I had a Venus 40 last year and have a Groovy 50 3A this year as a training model. Both are good flyers. Venus is maybe little better flyer but Groovy are easier to transport in the car. If I crash my Groovy 50 3A I will by one more.
