Default Focus II

Would a YS 1.10 be a wise choice for a Focus II?
Thanks!

I think a 1.40 would be a better choice.

A YS 1.10 wouldn't be enough, think 1.40 or 1.60.

I wouldn't put anything smaller than a YS 1.20 in it....preferably the FZ.

I have 1.40L in mine and my friend has a 1.40FZ in his. Plenty of power in both.

I have a new YS140 Sport in my brand new Focus II - nice power for Sportsman but the DA guy inside me wishes I would have went with a 160DZ. In very hot, humid and windy conditions yesterday I could have used the extra ooommphh to get over the top of those big double loops. Just my .02

O.S. 140 RX Engine O.S. Header and ES pipe. 17 x10N Prop perfect combo for this plane. Been flying this combo for 2 years now. Have 2 Focus II setup the same way and get about 8300 RPM from either engine. Intermediate last year 4th at the NATS. Advanced this year. Plenty of pull for all Advanced manuevers.

All you need to do with the O.S. is put fuel in it and fly. Y.S. if you get a good one will do great but if you have to work on it without the aid of someone who knows how to set it can be a nigthmare. NOT knocking a Y.S. at all so Y.S. guys don't get your feathers ruffled. Flew a Partner with a 1.60 Dingo and could see the tractor pull in the vertical. But for me right now it's the O.S.
