Isn't this airplane well past it's sell by date?
Could these be the few left over in the store room, the ones with so many twists in the flying surfaces that they couldn't bring themselves to sell them under normal conditions? Judging by the twists, factury built into my Focus 1... these last few must be dreadful.

I think you'd be better of building a Black Magic.

I had a talk with Steve and there is a shipment of Focus ARF/ARC due into the country around the first week or two of August. That link is an old one when they were going to discontinue the Focus. Due to popular demand they've brought the Focus back and the Brio isn't as quite dead yet either, jury is still out on it. Stay tuned.

So the new Piedmont is owned by Steve alone? Or is it Steve and Dave Guerin?
I hope they get the Brio figured out. If they can get a manufacturer that's relaible they could do well with it. God knows we need them. With the loss of PlProd and them its left a great void in available pattern planes. Mike

What do they need to figure out on the Brio?

They had terrible quality problems with the people manufacturing the Brio in Argentina. To quote a principle in the deal "Junk". The design is world class. Piedmont was really great too.

I think I'll wait until you guys buy them and tell us if they have fixed all the problems.
My focus II had a wing like 2 degrees different than the other just to have fly straight. Was kinda funny looking at it from the back. Funny thing, is it actually flew decent with the problem. I can't explain it, it just did. RIP to it!!!!!!
Also
That's quite a difference in price. Especially for a older ship. Don't think I would pay that for a focus, unless it was a focus III.

Got a pic? If not, is it in good shape.
My friends Focus is a 1 also. Have no problem removing the paint as it will need to be painted anyway.
How much? Paypal?

Thanks for the reply!!

It's odd that their website doesn't have any contact info on it. What if you want to call and ask questions. Mike

Yes but you'll have to redesign the engine box. It's designed for a hyde type mount.

This is not a very good picture....but it does show the YS140 on the "firm" Hyde mount without a nose ring.
