I have a 5 year old MK hand pump. I was having trouble with engines and fuel pumps years ago. I switched fuels to Cool Power and both problems went away.

I could get about 3 months on a fuel pump using Magnum Fuels and the pump would leak and sometimes even lock up. I switched to Cool Power and the same pumps that would leak and malfunction have now been good. The MK hand pump is excellent. What fuel are you using?

Allen

That's interesting, when I fly glo, Magnum is all I use. Same MK hand pump you are using, 4 years of pumping Magnum 15% and #1 thru it and still going strong. Wonder what is different?

I thought all your leaky fuel pump problems went away when you changed over to that new fuel pump, Astroflight?

Well, it's kinda hard to tell when it leaks, the electrons don't leave much of a trail with a small leak. However, with a 'big' leak ( zap, spark, snap, crackle) the leak is much more obvious.... ;-))

David me son. What's wrong with one of these. I have one for glow and one for gas. Both are over 10 years old. 1.5 ozs. per squeeze, in or out. You've seen me use mine, Errol has them...... Cheers

Don: I used them way back when. Found them slow and they don't fit in my field box.

Also,I checked the DuBro site a few weeks ago,and couldn't find them so assumed they were not available. Neither I or The Beav have seen them at Aerial's shop lately. The Six Shooter will do for the rest of this season.

Cheers,and keep warm,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Dave

SLOW !! Your Six Shooter takes 94 turns and I can fill a 20 oz. tank from empty in 15 squeezes max. That's a lot of work - your not getting any younger

Of course if they are not available then what's the use. I could rent you mine until I get home next summer.

My Six Shooter only requires 87 turns!

And I do have one of those Dubro fuelers. I have used it for gassing my Texan's G-62 since 14 years ago. Minus this year when it sat idle.
