Weighed the plane again tonight after adding the motor. Plane weight included wings, stab, rudder, canopy and chin cowl 7lbs 14 oz. things needed to complete

receiver/battery for control surfaces 3 oz.
spinner / prop 5 ounces
ESC 4 ounces
TP 5300 prolites 40oz with connetors

Looks like it is still going to be 10.5 ounces.

Robert, that's great on the weight. My E-Genesis was 10lbs 6oz when I flew it the first time but that was with the Hacker A60 which is several ounces lighter than the Axi.

Got my Silver canopy in today. Weight is 2.8 ounces. Other canopy with cockpit 7.7 ounces. Silver canopy will save 4.9 ounces

I must be reading something wrong or there is a typo in the weights. At 7lbs 14ounces now plus adding the 52 ounces of remaining parts to be added comes up to 11 pounds 2 ounces. I was looking at the Integral for E power but was hoping for a finished flying weight close to 10 pounds. Ed M.

Okay went back to the weight board.

Motor 24 ounces
ESC 4 ounces
Receiver 1.2 ounces
Battery 1.2 ounces
spinner 1.9 ounces
prop 3.2 ounces
Canopy 3.5 when colored and cleared
Chin cowl 3.2
battery 40oz
plane without components 5 lbs, 10 ounces -- 90 ounces

weigth 10.7 pounds. Maybe someone can double check my math and see what I left out.

Mentioned I got the silver Canopy in on Tuesday. Decided to give it a different paint job, and below is what I came up with. I figure that it will be easier to see in the air. The canopy is very thin and light, so I had to support the canopy with some honey comb carbon material, came out really nice. Canopy is mounted with three 4-40 screws; two in the front and one in the back.

Hi Robert. I was interested in why you needed to use the Bolly U/C. Is the one supplied too short for electric?
Could you tell me which Bolly one you are using please and also what height it provides? I am looking for a stronger one for my plane but as I am using 22inch props it is difficult finding one long enough. I need about 230mm because of the undulations on our bowling green - NOT!!
Thanks and great work on the thread.

The supplied lander gear may not be tall enough for a 22inch prop. I am using the bolly electirc gear, which weighs 4 ounces. The sotck gear was 5.2 ounces; and I wanted to extra prop clearance.

Be careful with the gear. I only measured 12" clearance when horizontal with the stock gear (old Impact gear) and 2" wheels. 22" props only have 1" clearance.

No differential, just the measurements up and down on ailerons.

The Integral is ready to fly. Here are some pics of the plane all together, and also a picture of my arming plug. Final flying weight is 10 lbs, 10oz., with TP 3850. Could not make it work with the 10S 5000 extreme and the AXi. I am sure that the 3850 will take me through advanced without any trouble.

Robert are you using the 10s or 2-5s ? Some of the pack have a fair weight difference with 10s plus you loose any extra connectors if you don't hard wire them. Also the 5300 prolites are lighter than the 5000's extremes and still do a fine job. Looks good hope to see it in person at Chicago or the Shootout.

Looks good Robert. I flew my E-Zeque, now your turn for a first flight. Fly it with the TP 5000's and don't sweat the weight right now. They will give you more flight time to test and trim your new plane.

You are right Chris, I kept 1 10S 5000 pack and sent one back to TP, and traded it for 2 3850 10S
