Default It followed me home can I keep it......

I had intended to go to the auction last night and just sell stuff. But things happen, and since the high bid wound up being only $20, I acquired another airplane. I was hoping that someone would recgonize it, I know it's got a pedigree and is a proven contest winner but was wondering just what airplane it was....

Thanks in advance,

Andy

Looks like a Dick Hansen designed "Elan", they were very popular 10+ years ago. YS 1.20's were the typical powerplant back in the day.

Not sure what it is, but no way is that an Elan.

Canopy reminds me of a Malibu.

Nice deal on that plane. You can fly the @#$! out of it because you have little invested (money OR time).

On the other hand, this reminds me of my first foamy....$40 for a plane? What a deal- stress free 3D! Well, after installing the radio, motor, esc, battery.... i had $400 in it!

Sorry I don't have the answer. Enjoy your new toy!

hehehe, sounds like my old supra fly.

I got given it,for nothing, as the guy thought it was too tired to fly.I filled it with my old radio and flew the wings off it. I ended up retiring it when I got my proper ship sorted.

Even being the ugliest hunka junk at the field it flew BRILLIANTLY, always made me wanna build another.

I say fly the pants off it.

It'll make you a better pilot, not worrying about splattering your beautiful carbon plane!!

Mystery solved. The plane is called a Foxfire.
