Hi Gill,
It looks to me like a sub version of the the ZEN 120.

I just received AirBorne Models new ad for the May K-Factor - it will cost $400 and a 10% discount is offered to all NSRCA members if you provide them with your NSRCA number (if you don't know it then your name will do... ).

Looks like a great deal to me especially of it is anything like the Groovy 90 kit.

I personally don't have one, but one of my friends bought it. I went up to his workshop to check it out. Its basic design is almost a Zen. Weight is on the heavy side though, while I did not use a weight, but on my hands the wing of the Spot On is almost the same as the Zen 120, and I am talking about the Zen wing with the retract and the Spot On doesn't! The under cover of the Zen becomes a fiberglass square with cavity for tuned pipe, glued onto the wing, looks ugly like that IMO. The one thing I dislike the most is that now instead of the 2 piece black control horn in the past that I liked very much, now WM goes cheap and includes those cheap 1 pc white control horns. While maybe they could get away scraping a few cents off using these cheap horns for the 50, I would expect better hardware on the 120....

Locally the price of the Spot On and the Zen is almost the same, in between the Zen and the Spot On, at the same price the Zen is a better plane.
