Hi all,
COming back in RC from a year, interested by the CAMODEL GALAXY with DA 50 ....
I'd like advice of owners or others about it .....
No time to build, and a daddy OK to build my plane if they are ARF !!!.....
My wonderfull INSIGHT evolution (from flying texan) electric powered was the latest plane my father build .....
What are the good and bad points of the GALAXY ?
Thanks to all
Marc

I have a galaxy with a Brison 3.2 that has about 50 flights on it. I bought it as a builder's kit and I did the building. I have been at this a long time and have a long history of pattern flying. The plane is light and has long moments that help it fly well. It is the best pattern plane I have ever had. It is outstanding at knife edge and all rolling maneuvers. It is smooth and a joy to fly. I have no info on the ARF version but I have had several Comumbo planes and I give them all high marks. The only item to change out is the landing gear. It is far too light weight for the plane and you should bolt on a stronger gear. I used medium power digital servos and there is nothing it will not do. The Brison is not as strong as a DA and it will hover at just over 1/2 throttle. More info if you need it.

I am not sure if you received my photos sent yesterday so I will send them again. I have a Futaba 9cap and a smartfly board with dual 6v batteries to power the system. The plane has flown without any problems to date.

Hi I'm flying one with a DL50 on it, it came in at 14lbs 3oz needless to say power is not a problem as stated in the earler post the galaxy is as good as it gets I have been flying pattern for over 20 years and if this is not the best pattern plane I have had I can't think of a better one. I would recomend it to any buddy flys great and cheap to run a winning combo for sure.
