Default Futaba 9CAP Rudder to aileron mix problem

I am having a problem getting the rudder to aileron mix to drive both ailerons on my pattern plane. I am using a Futaba T9C PCM radio. When I use the PMIX1 function in my radio I set it up as follows. MIX> ON,MAS>RUDD, SLV>AILE There is no input line for LINK then TRIM>OFF, SW>D POSI>NULL. The aim is to have the mix enabled regardless of switch position. The Link line appears if I select FLAP, GEAR, ELEV,AUX1,AUX2 but dissappears if I select AILE. I have tried all 7 mixes with the same outcome. I am using the Flaperon function and Ailavator function and my input channels are Ch1 right aileron, Ch2 left elevator, Ch3 throttle, Ch4 rudder, Ch6 left aileron and Ch8 right elevator. I tried doing the link using the rudder to flap mix but that just moved both ailerons in the same direction. I have overcome the problem by using a separate rudder to flap mix however since this is the third pattern plane in this radio and I don't remember having the problem on the last two I am concerned that a fault may have developed. When I look at the memory for the previous models the same problem exists so it is possible it has been there all along. Does anyone have any similar experience or thoughts on this problem.
Thanks,
CW
