Well, the 20 something pattern contest is in the books. For anyone who hasn't been to an Alb contest they are missing some unique things and should consider coming. This was my 9 year and still love it.
Driving to the field in the AM and seeing all the balloons Alb is famous for floating inthe typically calm air (in the AM) is a site. The food was great and the contest ran smoothly without any mishaps this year. Their city field was just resurfaced and in great shape.
All 6 round were flown (facing the west
18 pilots showed up. The wind typically does change from Northerly in the AM to Southerly in after 10 or so so both directions were flown on Sat. I like this because it tests everyone's skills.
The dinner at Richard's house was very good, again. Sitting and chatting around the table under his porch is the fun part.
My thanx to Mike, Richard and the RMRC club for putting on a great contest. Mike or Richard will have to get the results out.

AMEN!!! What a great time. Thanks to each and everyone of the people putting on the event including Mr. Eclipse (Mike). Also, thanks to the Lindberg's for opening up their beautiful Hacienda to a great dinner which is and always has been the highlight of the weekend. See you all in El Paso or Lubbock at our meet.
