Default kyosho oxalys 50

hi everyone I was just starting to think about the kyosho oxalys 50 as a first pattern plane. We have a spare os fs 70II lying around and was wondering if it would be enough motor and what prop we should use. Any experience with the oxalys 50 and whats your setup.

There is a good thread here on that Aircraft:
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_3033086/tm.htm

I'm getting ready to get one also...I'm planning a YS .63 with a Hatori muffler and wrap around header...

I think it will be a pretty kewl mount for a Pattern familiarization ship...he he

Hope all goes well with yours!!

Have Fun...

Hey..In that thread(see above link) there is a guy who is a Kyosho Dealer...PatternFlyer is his screen name and apparently he has P & A Hobbies...You could email him at: [email protected] last time I checked which was a few months ago he had several gas versions in stock...Not sure of availability as of today??

The other option I knew of would be Kyosho of America:
http://www.kyoshoamerica.com/
http://www.kyoshoamerica.com/airplanes/gp/11852.asp

I'm finding the kits gonna run $239(US) for the gas version...The Electric version is more expensive from what I've seen...

I'm not sure about shipping to Australia??

Hope you find one...

Have Fun...

Chuck
