Was really hoping it would be Canada. Just for once it would be nice not to fly more than 10,000 miles to get to a world champs.

Ive been waiting for this for years !
Im only 15 miles away from the nearest coast of France.
Re Mark Novaks question - does anyone know if the region has been announced yet?
'bout time the Champ hosted it eh !? Assuming he still will be after Poland this year......
He and his brother are coming to my local patch in July for a Formation TOC Extra display..... always a pleasure to watch is that !
IS there an approx date know yet ? August / Sept I assume !?

The documents mention St Yan in Burgundy, although another possible site still in Central France is also considered.
Dates submitted are August 19 to 28
Dates may change according to FAI policy regarding the World Air Games that will also take place in 2005 and involves all Air Sports, including model aerobatics (but Artistic Aerobatics, not F3A)
