Dave,

I would like to know from which shipment are these shindens and if it would be possible to build one without resorting to using the lightest of every component and still be legal (under 5Kg).

Thank you

Mundo

Hey Mundo,

These are from the latest shipment we received (August) and average weight is 2370-2420 grams on the total airframe.

How is the Shinden set up for a 2 cycle pipe. Does it come with a tunnel?

It doesn't have a pipe tunnel for a 2-stroke, it's setup to accept the YS with the short pipe.

Dave, has anyone successfully converted one to electric? If so, how did the project go?

The first one I ever saw was electric. Hacker C50 set up. It flew extremely well.

I'm not sure about the weight, but it was definitely a great flying plane.

Yeah, I'm fairly certain the original electric one was well over weight, but many of the weight issues have been fixed, and it is possible to get one under weight with electric power.

Hey guys, just wanted to give an update, I think there is just 1 more pink/blue available and a few white ones, nows the time to grab one. It's a savings of over $400!
