Definitely the Twister. It is the newest of the designs. The Genesis is an updated Eclipse and with CA, you honestly do not know what you are going to get..there are good kits out there, and some really bad ones. I have not heard a bad thing about the twisters, and I've seen several fly and they flew very well,

I flew Andrew Jesky's old Twister (now at home at my local club) and I have to say I was very impressed after we got it trimmed out. It didn't take much and it is a very honest plane. I can only think of good things to say about the plane itself. It's a ZN plane and thier quality is excellent....if you like that sort of construction, this is about the best there is. You didn't say what type of power you were planning to use but if electric then OH YES. if YS, then be sure to use a GOOD soft mount and take care of it. It is a "flying eggshell" after all

You won't be unhappy with a Twister. Little mix and very true.

Hi,
the only engine i have is YS 1.40FZ.Think it will not have so much power, but will be enough. What do you think?I'm Not sure what pipe to buy for it.I have one soft mount from Du-bro. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXD633&P=ML says 1.20-1.50 for 4stroke.Is it good or i need another one ? The Chip Hyde's one is crazy expensive for me.
Thank you for reply

I know the Hyde mount sounds expensive, but in the grand scheme of things it is not. It is that much better. The wear and tear it will save on your airframe over the life of the plane will easily pay for itself. When all is said and done, you will have close 2000USD in your plane..the 100USD difference for the Hyde mount is not a large investment in the grand scheme of things. Two places you do not want to try to save money in pattern are your engine mount, especially since you are flying YS and your servos. The YS can put a lot of stress on your airframe. The YS 1.40DZ should work fine for the Twister. Not as much power as the 1.60DZ or 1.70DZ, but still should be adequate. You will be very happy in the long run if you just get the Hyde mount,

Mine is 140FZ,not 140DZ.What do you think about Integral(from composite arf)?Is it better?Or is available better plane than Twister and Integral in their price range ?
Thanks

I would forget about any of these planes with a 140FZ, they will all be well underpowered. something a little smaller like the X Treme composite OTOP would be better.

If you can pick up a 1.60DZ for a good price, jump on it. The difference is about 200-300RPM, and is not that big of a deal. If you can't get a good deal on a 1.60DZ, then get the 1.70, but you will have more than enough power with the 1.60DZ. There are a few minor changes other than just the displacement, but power wont be a problem with either motor.
