I'm planning to come. I have a VenusII that I built for my club to auction off...
...and then I won it!
I flew novice about 8 years ago for two seasons and am looking forward to getting back into pattern. Of the various hotels listed, which one is most popular with the crowd?
Also, is NSRCA membership requried?

My Feedback: (18)
NSRCA membership encouraged (it is a wealth of information) but in no way shape or form required.
Spectators are always welcome and free. You can even indulge in the wonderful RC food at a reasonable cost.
Sorry Ron, I don't want to overstep my bounds by answering questions that are technically for the CD

Anthony is correct no fee to watch and NSRCA is not required.
I don't recall which hotel everyone stayed at but they are all OK and in the same general area. We usually hook up for dinner Friday night and saturday night somewhere around the hotels.
Normally the sportsman/novice class is small so there is little pressure and a good chance of taking home some hardware.
Look forward to seeing you.

No fee for spectators.
I suggest you bring a plane and give it try.
Even a trainer plane can do most of the manuvers in sportsman/novice class.
If you can do a loop, roll and fly a little inverted you can fly sportsman/novice class.
Don't be shy.
