Does anybody have experience with either this plane or this webstore? They used to sell the "Surpass-90" which was actually the original design of the Fliton Infinity, which I found the best flying 110 size pattern I have come across.
This plane actually looks very much like this Surpass-90, so it should be a great flying plane. This price (139$) is very low!

As I understand it, this was a "3D-type" version of the Fliton Infinity. It seems to share the fuselage. It looks great, especially for the price.
The writeup states it has a semi-symmetrical wing, but that is likely inaccurate.

if you check here post #20 and the 2 below, it mentions that originally there were 2 versions of the Infinity. The normal and the 3D. However, Fliton sold only the 3D version. The "normal" version (without counterbalance rudder and elevators) sold as Surpass-90 or X-tech Infinity.
This Power 3D looks like the "normal" one, but that doesn't make sense, since they sold first also the Surpass-90.

i looked at the power 3d yesterday at the lhs, i was most impressed with the build quality. it looked good, fiberglass reinforcing at the wing joining, im just not sure how well it will fly pattern, i already have an esm katana 3d so im more interested in its pattern flying qualities? has anyone flown one? i want something that will fly fast as well as straight. maybe the surpass 90. I received a mail from Hobby E-store stating they have no additional information or pictures, but that the wing is a two piece. Gregor32, do you have some additional info? What did the supplied hardware look like?
I looked again at the picture of the plane, it looks VERY MUCH like the Infinity or the Surpass-90, except that the ailerons go all the way to the tip.
Unfortunately it looks like they do not ship this bigger planes overseas, so only you guys in the USA are lucky....or has anyone experience with them?

hé, that is a great link you send there. On the site it shows some dimensions, and also the Infinity is there. Clearly they are familiar, but different in size. Any clue about this Durahobby? Are they in the US, or Chinese based? I'll drop them an email anyway, to inform about the X-tech Infinity.

I find these guys really expensive (many in the UK are!). 214GBPs for the Acacia while it is 139$ at E-store! That is 89€ vs. 267€!!! Ridiculous! Anyway, what am I complaining about I bought the Fliton Infinity for 365€ and was very happy about it.

We are used to paying far too much for our goods here in the UK especially the $ v's £ and the € v's £. I'm not saying I am happy to be paying more but it is a situation were forced (almost) to accept

Andy P, thanks for posting the link with the video. That is impressive! I think I will get one.
Brett
Your welcome Brett, glad it was of use to you, great performance considering the 30mph wind it was being flown in!
Regards,
Andy.

I have been searching the internet again, but it is strange, I can hardly find any relation to X-tech Infinity. This is truly a great plane, and X-tech has some other models that are nice. You would expect some more distributors. Also on Alibaba.com I couldn't find anything. Does anybody know some other name under which these planes are marketed?
