Hi guys, being new to plane specially this F3A thing I need your advise.
Plane - Leo F3A 110 http://www.raidentech.com/leof3a11068n.html
Engine - TT PRO-120R (9196) 2 stroke http://www.thundertiger.com/product/9196.html
Servos - HS5645MG for rudder & elevator, HS475HB for aileron & HS325HB for throttle.
Prop - APC 14 x 10
Do I really need to use
1. Perry pump. If yes which one is suitable http://www.advantagehobby.com/produc...8&cat=0&page=1 or http://www.advantagehobby.com/produc...1&cat=0&page=1
2. Tune pipe. If yes kindly provide me links for the tune pipe & header that suits the engine and the plane.
Do let me know if I should need other things aswell and thank you all in advance.

You shouldn't need a pump.
They recommend a 110 size 4 stroke so perhaps a 120 2 stroke will be more engine than you need.
I would aim more toward about a 90 or so along with a pitts style muffler.
A tuned pipe would look nice slung along the belly but that would be more to set up and get working right. I am not sure if you can rely on muffler pressure with a tuned pipe and if you do use one you may need a pump.
I have used the Perry VP-20 Oscillating pump in the past with good results and you don''t have to tap the crankcase for it to work.

Stay away from Pitts Style mufflers. They typically do not provide enough pressure and do not do a good job at providing a quiet setup. A muffled tuned pipe or stock muffler would be better.
I also would recommend the OS 1.20 AX based on past experience.

Thanks J Lachowski, so tuned pipe is the way to go for my setup. I've found several including the OS 1.20 AX but now need to find the right header [sm=72_72.gif]

I have one , with a o.s.91 fx , i recommend you to put a 4 stroke like an Old YS 120 OR OS 120 AX .
The tunned pipe , mi OS 91 FX Need it to have a lot of power , if not , thhe plane wil be a trainer.

The TT 120RP has a built in pump, so you don't need a perry.
I have the same engine in my Leo on a home made pipe.
Decent power, i'd say.
You will need a header and a pipe.
Where to find'em i don't know. A few years back they were listed on the TT website, but i can not find them now.
some notes:
The prop size you choose is wrong for the engine.
You will need a 16*8 or a 15*10 APC, albeit the landing gear might be slightly short for the 16*8

I'll try the 15 x 10 APC prop aswell but the 16 x 8 is too long, it'll hit the ground

If you don't want to fiddle with the landing gear a 13,4*13,5/3 blade APC will eliminate clearance problems.
It gives very similar performance as the 15*10/2 blade.
