Well, it was disappointing that we got rained out Sunday, however, we had a great time Saturday and as always the Tulsa folks were excellent hosts. They served fresh grilled burgers for lunch and barbeque Saturday night. I really enjoy flying there, the field is beautiful and everyone is great fun to be around.
Congrats to Brian Young who won masters beating me by about 30 points (that’s the real reason the rain out was a bummer, I really wanted another shot at you Brian
). Brian, your new electric flies very nice and you’re looking very solid with it.
Thanks to Steve Ford who did a great job as CD and to all the cub members that help out and sacrificed a Saturday of flying. Sorry we ran out so quickly without a proper awards ceremony but that crazy Oky weather and impending golf ball sized hail sent us Texans running south.
I’m looking forward to next year!

Even rain shortened, had a great contest with many close battles in all classes. Thanks to everyone that helped put this contest together. I'm still second guessing myself calling the event on Sunday, we only had 68 mph winds and damage to part of our awning over the pits.
Just another beautiful day.
