Work sucks, but gotta pay the fuel bills after Andersonville. Doesn't seem so long ago when a 14 gal. fill up cost $30.00. Now it's almost double that !!! Door prizes were $30 cash for fuel. Good idea, Emory! Always a good contest.

I wish I could make it over and I'm sorry I'll miss it. I don't know if it's possible, but if we could get a week between this and Andersonville, I could get there. It was a VERY fun contest to be sure. I think moving the date back a week next year would do wonders. It's a great place to fly, laid back and casual, with a lot of fun competition.

Yep Scott is back. he can't do a full schedule this year but said he'd be at Huntsville. he looks really good, and just some more time and he'll be frozen solid again Fun guy to be around too.

Great to meet Jeremy too! I'm very impressed that he was able to fly a Vanquish like that. It's a great plane but he made it looks like a 2 meter!

And that is it...after that last round, I'm going to the eye doctor. It sucks getting old.....

And of course dinner Friday and Sat was awesome....

Great contest. Laid back, but we got in 5 rounds even with the rain.
