Default Landing Gear!!!!

Question,

I need to get my plane off the ground a little more. I have an Aresti .40 from Hangar 9. The included wheels are the right size, but the swept gear is too low for the 12" prop I swing on my .61 engine. How important is the LOCATION of the wheel compared to the C.G??? This is a tail dragger. I need to get a diffrent gear to add at least 1" to 2" off the ground... The gear is SWEPT bakwards, but I was told that the gear should fall in the same place compared to the CG. I can't seem to find any swept gear that will work. Any suggestions???

Thanks.

Having the wheels another inch forward or so on this plane should not be an issue.

Moving it back towards the CG is where you can run into problems quick.
