ZNLine AXIAL,..Any reports?
#3

Took delivery of Axial kits Thursday - quality appears typical of ZN, very nice. Was impressed with Mark Rubin's Axial at the WC (his are PL) and placed order with ZN. I won't start building until after the Nats, maybe post more info before the Nats if time allows.

It's kool looking,.....just wanted to see if anyone here was working with one yet. I requested information on it several months ago. I think the US price when converted that was quoted to me was around $1,460.00 + shipping for the kit and about $4,700 built and painted. To rich for my blood when you consider all the others you can get for the same money,...IMOP anyway!

Hello Mups53,
I do not recall them including a price for shipping in the email, just said shipping was not included I would guess $300.00 plus depending how it was shipped. EHFAI, since he just received a pair may be able to shead some light on that one us?

The kits are 870 Euro, shipping (air freight) is around 200 Euro. Shipping might vary with number of kits. ZN takes qoutes from various shippers then selects best price, in my case DSV Air/Sea, Inc. which handled pick-up at ZN to delivery to my door. Expect a few other charged on the US end for a customs broker, airline warehouse fees (while waiting to clear customs, & home delivery.
Not noted on the ZN webpage is that the Axial is available with two different cowls, one for electric power and another for glow.
