Default Crating A PATTERN BIRD FOR SHIPPING

Somebody out there must have built one . If you've got photos, please put them up. My needs are for 120- 2 meter sized models with fixed stabs . I recall that the Ultra-R/C models were in a large crate, anyone still got one of these collecting dust and spiders?

Frank,

Check around there and see if anyone has any Composite-ARF boxes or crates. The box can have a frame structure added to the inside to make it stand-up better to all the stuff about to be stacked on it... just insure it for twice the amount.

Jason,

Thanks for the advice. I'll keep that option in mind.

Congrats on your NATS win. Maybe we'll catch up when you visit Jersey again.

Say hello to Dad for me- we sure had fun back in the day with Ukie.

There are several good resources on the web for building and shipping larger planes. If you go above a certain size then you have to ship it by freight or via air which usually requires a vist to your local airport.
