Hi Xigris,
I like the colours scheme, I find it very original.
I'm very interested to know the weight that you'll get with the material you chose.
I look forward to the pictures of the plane in flight order.
Best regards

Hi Papaone
I noticed that Frederick did this before covering started, do you no if it is sillicone or epoxy/microbaloons mix?
Maybe one can use epoxy/microbaloons for this filling job- and once it is finnished(sanded to profile plus covering) you can apply packing material applied with doublesided cellotape to reduce noise and scuffing .

Regarding the filler; looks to me to be silicone applied solely to get rid of any vibrations (scuffing) between the two surfaces? In that case, microbaloons won't do.. (correct me if I'm wrong). I'm using a "filted tape" for this. (The kind used on picture frames - adhesive on one side, slightly furry on the other..). This was applied on one of Ola Fremmings' old planes that I had, and I kind of stuck with it!

Hi Gerrie
frédéric told me he put epoxy/resin/microbaloons mix. He sanded it to profile and put Oracover.
To reduce noise and scuffing we put adhesive thin foam insulation.
Claude
What's new about your Addiction ?

Hi Papaone
Still busy with painting the Addiction,it rained a lot here and then the compressor had a problem-this made painting very frustrating and I want an immaculate job on her.
So I started with my Osmose (carbon/honeycomb delux version... kit) which was laying around for quite a while .
I like the way Frederick used to mount the tank ,want to try the same thing in the Osmose - sturdy and saving weight ...can leave out that pipetunnel floor. Also considering that rudder modification.
Currently flying a composite arf Integral/YS 160, LOVELY PLANE,but very fragile. Our runway is not the best and started to wear that fragile landingear mounting area t after about 190 flights.
Leaving for the Nats.(23-26 April) tomorrow- which will be held at Port Elizabeth-known for very windy conditions.
