Hi,
I have just installed the hyde mount for my YS-110, now the engines is shaking alot on idle but then when advancing
the throttle the vibration almost disappear, now i read that it's recommended to add nose ring to overcome the thrust change,
but it seems to me that it's impossible to glue the nose ring to the cowl as the engine shaking will probbaly break the cowl or at least loose the cowl screws that connect it to the fuselage
any advice ?
Thanks,

Hello,
1) You don't glue the nose ring to the cowl!!!
2) IF necessary (Which I doubt) Nose ring will be connected to the fuselage
3) I have YS110 on a Hyde mount on my Venus 2 - more then 700 flights - no problem without Nose ring.
4) Which Hyde mount do you use?
5) Which propeller and Fuel do you use?
6) Upload a picture....

I use the same Mount.
Vibrations on Idle is normal and on four-strokes motor you get more vibrations then 2 strokes as you have 1 ignition state very 2 revolutions not like 2 strokes where 1 ignition state every revolution. As long as the Motor is well attached to the mount and the mount is well attached to the firewall....
go fly, enjoy and always come back from the field with less fuel and same number of airplanes. (Not opposite)
