Hi
OS140RX provides the power beyond the YS160DZ equivalent.
But throttle control isn't mild.

I have to totally disagree with the statements above. The YS 1.40DZ was the first of the newer style engines that YS came out with, and it was the first to surpass the OS in power. The new 1.60DZ and 1.70DZ produce SIGNIFICANLY more power than the OS 1.40RX. I flew the OS's for years and loved them, but on hot days at the US NATS, it was definitely underpowered. They 1.60 and 1.70's will swing props that OS wont even begin to swing and they do it with much more torque. The throttle curve is also much better on the YS 4strokes. I personally have no owned a 1.40DZ, only the 1.60 and 1.70, but have flown one several times and the power was very impressive. OS built a great engine in the 1.40RX, but it is very outdated now as far an FAI level power plant.
