Please select all items that you would, if given the opportunity, would purchase for a "premium" recognizing that 98% of the proceeds will go to the Team.

I'm sorry, I seem to have trouble reading. Does that say the words 'cold' and 'Texas' in the same sentence? Must be that 5* windchill outside affecting my eyes

"Official" Team Sshwag...

Polo shirt...Keith for you, of course. Let me know what size, preferred color, if you want anything on the sleeves like Futaba, JR...your custom shirt will be N/C with your $1,000 tax deductible donation! How about a nice clean Land's End white polo as the shirt?

I imagine that new items will be designed/offered to recognize special donations. The 2007 Team provided a high quality, lined straw hat with a black band, screen printed with the Team logo for a $250 donation. Black ball caps were also floating around for Team Representatives and special donation levels. Look for them, you will see them around.

Custom stuff is always available for the interested parties.

Yes, I'd have to second that. I rarely wear T-Shirts these days. I like the collar to put my neckstrap under.

2009 USA F3A Team "Official" Offerings...

Okay boys and girls this is the real deal, no kidding, serious and a true chance of a lifetime...

Imagine that you are really into golf...how would you like to spend a day with Tiger Woods...and he is your COACH?

Imagine you are a money manager...how would you like to have lunch with Warren Buffet?

Now, what if you could spend a day and a half being coached by the reigning F3A World Champion...not mowing his yard...I mean you, your airplanes, his personal flying field, his personal work shop helping you fly better?

I confirmed with Quique Somenzini, that he will be hosting a "Pattern Camp" for a limited number (probably fewer than 5 and at least 2 unless one REALLY writes a big check) pilots for a day and a half of World Class training at his personal flying site in Ohio. The date has not been selected, although a weekend makes a lot of sense.

100% of the proceeds will go to the 2009 USA F3A Team. I expect about (4) slots will be filled by very special "donations" and I am considering the logistics, pricing and moral hazard of a raffle for a (5) spot. Personally, I will be a full retail paying attendee...so there are only (3) spots left.

How much? Each participant will pay for their transportation to and from Ohio, accomodations and meals. I will provide a goodie bag of Team Schwaag and a surprise or two. I would like to see $1,000 per attendee and remember, your check will be made to the "AMA", a 501C3 non-profit organization which may be tax deductible. (The Team does not and will not give any legal or tax advice. Always consult an attorney or tax professional)

Please add your vote to the poll attached to this thread.

*aacheeeww cough hooded sweatshirt cough fart ugh" Hmm, must be coming down with something.

I think Camp Quique is an amazing idea - it's something I would definitely shoot for a few years down the road. Right now I'm working on an application to Camp Scott Smith for next summer. Only thing is I don't know if Scott Smith knows there's a camp or applications!

Hey Joe,

You're in luck! We'll be doing a judging seminar (late April or early May) in Western MA. Come on down for the weekend (you can stay at my home.)

As our New England schwag rep, please bring some merchandise so we can help out the team! (T's and sweatshirts where the big sellers last year.)

Last time i thought one of the tote bags was'nt a good idea. But after dragging it all around the Toledo show with my purchases. And later after i had surgery on my leg that tote bag carried all my support equipment. Ace bandages, guage pads, tape and of course the blunt point scissors. So i think a tote bag need to be considered.

By the way if anyone is considered the tote bag is holding up well.

I still have all my tote bags from TOC's and Worlds. Love those things...lol.

I think we need the hoodies to be Zipper Hoodies? I like them when it's more like a jacket than a shirt. Too bad we can't vote anymore (once I voted I can't go back and revote) would vote for the Polo

"Official" Team Offerings...

Sheet of mylar decals...I need YOUR assistance.

I am in the process of finalizing the "Official" 2009 USA F3A Decal Sheet. The sheet needs to be able to fit in a 9" x 12" envelope, be made of fuel proof mylar, clear with printing on back side cost less than $3.00 allowing a donation of $10 or MORE for (1) plus shipping.

The sheet will include:

(2) large logos about 3.5" x 5" (6-7 colors)
(1) NSRCA Logo (old school shield or swoosh?)
(1) Styled Monochrome logo (black)
(1) Futaba
(1) FAAST
(1) JR
(1) Spectrum

and what else?

Options:

It would be great if someone like RCUniverse would offer to cover the production costs and have their logo as well?
Same as above but insert manufacturer of choice...like a motor company, a hobby shop, a beverage, your name...?

Post your suggestions.

All different size Team logos, color and some black and some white... no need for other stuff on there except a company if they're doing the sheets. Should be able to fill up one sheet with the different sizes and colors.

A polo would be great as would a decal sheet. There is nothing better than supporting a team of champions.
