YS 170 CDI - added regulator?
I've found these pictures in a Japanese web site. It looks like they attached a regulator (?) between the pump and the tank in the YS 170 CDI. Any thoughts why? I always thought the regulator was needed for the pressurized system in the smaller YS engines.

I asked that web master.
That is a fuel stopper automatically.
But recently, it has discontinued the production by YAMADA.
