Default Venus II, Part II!

So, purchased this Venus II about 3 years ago. Flew it a few times before I had a dead stick at 20 feet inverted, flew it straight ahead and landed in a field with only one tree in it....you guessed it, hit that one tree and destroyed the wing. It had been hanging in my garage for quite some time before I found a gentleman selling just the wing here on RCU. These planes fly so well, it is well worth rebuilding them if they are not totally destroyed.

Here she is ready to go..

Thanks man! It's got an O.S. 91FX. Performance is good - probably not quite as good as the 1.20AX but it flies it well.

Thanks for the response!

Spence,

The .91FX should fly the VII very well no problem there. My VII is setup with the 1.20AX it has an excess of power, most flying is done at half throttle or less unless doing a maneuver. I am learning to fly pattern the extra power is nice, but it doesn't provide me with better thumbs.

Hi Steve. Yes, this plane has flown with the 91 before. Performance is great....can't wait to get her in the air!
