Earlier today I performed an undesirable modification on a recently reconditioned Fresh Aire
. It had a rebuilt YS 1.20 and man that sonofagun hummed! On flight #5 one of the foam core wings split and that was the end of that. So now I've got a great running engine looking for a good pattern plane. I was really looking forward to working on my F3A skills, so anything along those lines would be good suggestion. Thanks.

Bob, what class in precision aerobatics do you fly or want to fly? You could buy a couple different pattern planes, or some others depending on what you want it to be capable of doing.
Check out CA Models airplanes site if you would like, they have superb flying planes for fair prices, and good service.

Bob:
If you want to work on your pattern skills, we are having a pattern clinic and judging seminar in 2 weeks in Northern Virginia. There will be at least 2 world class pattern flyers there to give presentations on pattern related topics and also be at the club field about 1 min away from the seminar to give demo flights and provide coaching to anyone interested. Not only is it all free ($10 if you want to take the judging certification test), but you get lunch too. Owings Mills can't be more than an hour and a half drive. Here is a link to the thread with more info.

Hope you can make it.

...Didn't see anything for which the 1.20 4-stroke was called for.

You should look for planes .91 in size... EPSILON 90 for example. That would be perfect with a 1.20.
I have one in an OLD G-Trick. Fly it for years with a YS .91FZ - great. Then an OS .91 FX - dreadful. Then a YS 1.20 I have laying around - brilliant.
At last, after 12 years I'd found the ideal engine for that airframe.
Heaps of power... and all of it useful.

Let me check with him rcpollo, you may have to order it from CA models, which they would send it to Net Box Hobby in Miami, FL, and from net box to you.
