Glen,
Great contest. Hopefully I'll have my engine running tomorrow or the next day. I'm hoping working on that cap will fix it. If not, it'll go back to YS. Great flying Brandon. Hopefully in Crowley I'll be able to get through all the rounds.
I did get home in time to start cutting the grass today though, so not all was lost.

Great contest Glen. Thanks to you and your club for the hospitality and the good time... we'll try not to hold the fire against y'all! Maybe if I can figure out how to get pictures off my cell phone I could show everyone what I'm talking about...

I second what matt said, great contest Glen! A great overall experience for me. Arch, great time flying against you. Thank you very much on the compliment. Hope to see you and all at Crowley! Caught some great zzzz's on the way back for sure- made for a short ride home, though my dad would argue

Congratulations to the winners; it looked like a great contest. I sent an email out last night to a couple of people so I will make it public now. Atleast I missed a good time for another good time, lol, equal trade.
I flew in the Chuck Alley Cajun Aerobatic Contest this weekend at Legros, Airport, that being my first contest it was at first kinda......hmm,whats the word,,,,((Butterflies in my stomach))... Hardest round was the first round since, it was the actual first round.
, slipped my parachute on, climbed in the plane and took off, went to the holding position over the town of Estherwood, waiting for them to call me into the box, and here it comes; they call me, I enter and flew immaculately, I was very excited of my performance and so were all the other pilots.
I flew my way into 2nd place out of 4 very good pilots, I was actually 10 pts from 1st, but what happend was on my 3rd round unkown sequence on Saturday; in all of the excitement I flew through a center manuever without even doing it and went to the next one at the end of the box and recieved a 0 so that kept me from the number one position. Overall though I was very excited and so were the rest, it was defenetly an awesome experience and I can't wait for my next aerobatic competition.
I should be coming to Crowley in a few weeks so, hope to see ya there....
