Default Pattern setup tips?

Now that Iwill have a 3D dedicated machine, I would like to setup one of my other planes to be more pattern specific for smoother flight. Are there any tips on basic setup?

For example - Iread somewhere that you should try and get the best resolution possible and use the entire servo throw available. Ok that makes sense. However, does this mean Ishould try and keep my servo throw at 100% or shoot to maximize at 140% and use the inner servo arm holes?

Any tips would be appreciated.</p>

I run mine at around 100%. Do that with about 25-35% expo, and you should get a good feel. Then a lot of it is personal likes. Some like more expo, some less.

I Get very nice tips from the Futaba 8U radio control system... not only for the radio setup but also for plane setup.
Good luck!
