Venus II Carbon Landing gear
Can someone tell me who is making the Carbon Fibre Landing gear for the Venus II? I bought a set and need another and can't remember the mans name that I bought them from...
I've searched and can't find the link.
I would appreciate it. Thanks

Hey BW, did you ever get a response from Ken at that email address? I sent him an email a few days ago and nothing as of yet.

Do you know if there is a phone number available to try and reach him at? Is there any other carbon landing gear available for the Venus II that anyone is aware of? Thanks for any info.

RE: Venus II Carbon Landing gear
Hey, Joe, how is the CF gear holding up? I am wondering because I have yet to see CF gear that lasted very long on gasser or nitro planes.
I might need it for my Focus Sport, which I got after the mid-air with my Venus at Black Dirt. I bought it late June right after the tragic demise of the Venus, but just got around to working on it a couple of weeks ago. The stock LG leaves a lot to be desired - to put it mildly - but it is aluminum and will likely stand up better to the YS 1.10 with the Hyde mount. Maidening it tomorrow or Sunday, depending on weather.
BTW, the Focus Sport looks nice now and I am hopeful that it will fly well, but it is by a wide margin the most... umm... "issue-riddled" ARF that I have ever assembled![:@]

I didn't mean to imply that he was bad to deal with, and I appologize if that is how it came across. I sent him an email and got no response, but I will certainly try again. Thank you for the information.

I didn't think you implied he was a bad guy, I was just trying to imply that he will most likely email or even call you back when he can
The gear is pretty bomb proof. Doing very well despite plenty of abuse. I would not recommend it if it were not holding up.

Ok Joe, thanks and sorry for the miss understanding. I will patiently wait for his reply. I just got my Venus II and I am going to completely recover it so I have time for the gear.

That is what I hope to accomplish, I just don't want it to look like the other VII's out there as I will be competing with it next year.
