Default Which prop should I use???

Any suggestions....

I will be flying a WM Groovy 50 3D with an OS 61 FX 2 stroke up front. I plan on using it for mostly pattern flying with a little 3d thrown in here and there. I want enough speed to track through all the pattern maneuvers but I also want the vertical pull for climbing out of a hover or torque roll. Thanks for any tips with this!

I had a 12x5 on a Venus 40 w/55AX and it was too slow. I think it has a 12x6 now. I was hoping for a 12x7 but the engine just didn't have the grunt. You might with the 61, so that's my recommendation. A 12" prop will pull the plane vertically just fine. Other choice would be an 11x8. It really is nice to have the pitch so you can cruise at low-mid throttle and have plenty of power in reserve for verticals.

No less than APC 12x9 or 12x10... you will be really happy!!! Also use no less than 10% nitro in the fuel.
Cheers

I'm running a 12x10 APC on my OS 61 on a Big Stick 60. I'm very pleased with the performance of that prop.
