Pattern Nats

Yes, I learned well from my prep for the TOC last year, where I flew until I was practically blue in the face. By a fluke, (the lousy weather this spring) I cooled off and flew typically 2 to 4 flights per practice session (2 to 5 times a week weather permitting) leading up to, and limited myself to only 2 flights practice each evening at the NATS. This technique kept me much more mentally sharp, and leaning forward in the harness, so to speak...
My saying for this week at the NATS, keep focused on the matters at hand.
Wow, it was just the day before yesterday, it already feels like months ago. My wife has already put me to work today changing the brakes on her car.

Great effort. I got the full report from my buddy's from Illinois who said your performance was outstanding. A real grass roots effort that proves hard work and talent can overcome alot! Go team JR also, who have now won the nats for the 2nd year in a row, Mike Mueller
