D3- Andersonville, GA contest June 5-6th
Hey Guys,
It's getting close to June and the Peach Pattern Classic will be here soon. The contest will be held over the weekend of June 5th-6th. I hope many of you will consider the drive. If I can answer any questions, please let me know. Here are a few of the hotels in the area. Make sure and ask for the model airplane contest rate...
Jameson Inn- (229)924-2726 $60
Holiday Inn Express- (229)928-5400 $65
Hampton Inn- (229)924-3890 $85
Also, attached is a copy of the contest flyer.
For Saturday night, we will have something different. I have access to a 22' high x 34' wide blow up movie screen and projector. So, weather permitting, we can have a movie night.

All right now. I have two camper folks coming in on Wednesday. Ya'll have to save me a camper spot near the pavillion. I'll be rolling in later Thursday night.

I have something that may work out for Saturday night. I may have access to a giant blow-up movie screen and projector. I was thinking we could hang out after dark and and watch a movie on the runway. Now we just have to figure out which movie to show. Anyone have any good blue rays?
Anyway, I should know for sure by next weekend if I will have it. So, what movie do you vote for? No chick flicks!

Both of those movies are very cool. You need to bring them. Hey Greg, I had to google the Blue Max. I have never seen it.

Blue Max, George Peppard, was a 60's? movie I believe about WW! and the process of getting 25 kills to be awarded the Blue Max. Very cool movie emory. It didn't come up on google?

I will be bringing my smoker, I you want guys we can put some money and we can smoke 3 cases of ribs corn in the cob some grilled vidalia onions and bread and have dinner and movie Saturday night let me now what you think guys about this

I have had one person ask if there would be a judging clinic at Andersonville. We had not planned to do so since we had one last year, but I wanted to see if there are any other folks that were interested in that. I cannot promise that we would be able to get one together. So, anyone out there wanting a judging clinic?

I sure hate missing the party that you guys are going to have. I'm going to be stuck at home playing in watermelons, but it going to give me time to do some more painting on an airplane. You guys have fun and keep me posted.
