Default wing tube dimensions

Hi guys,

same plane different question... The 30% extra will have a wingspan of about 90" and will weigh in at about 15lbs. For convenience I need to use plug-in wings (my car can only just take the wing and fuz of a 2m pattern model...). For a plane of this size and weight, what would you recommend as a wing tube? What dimensions, and would you go for a carbon tube or an alloy one?

Thanks again,

James

I believe most "kits" of that size use a 1.5" OD tube. Hope that helps some.
