Swill,
Your engines RPM number indicate the optimum prop to be an APC 16.5x11 (APC 16.5x12 -> repitched to 11). Another consideration would be an APC 17x10N, the prop chart shows it to be at the high end of the load, but still capable of 8400 rpm. _________ Schpankme |
RE: Thunder Tiger 120 Pro question.
Got verry verry broad needle.
Seems to be my problem as well. How much should i cut off the header.., got mine for 155 pounds. thats for engine, header and tune pipe :) Runing it with a 15 -12 at the moment doing 8400 rpm but it can do more because it was not on idle verry well [&o] |

RE: Thunder Tiger 120 Pro question.
Thanks for all the good info. How long is your total assembly length, measured from your glow plug to the end of your pipe?
Thanks, DWH |
RE: Thunder Tiger 120 Pro question.
Test ran my new engine with a MA 16x10 with straight header, no pipe and was turning 9030 rpm. Plan to be using an APC 16x11. Had some problems with middle range being rich, but will wait till I have the pipe on before I start tweaking the pump.
